In an effort to stay locked down, I decided to bring my staghorn fern home. I couldn’t expect my mother to lug this thing up and down from the wall for watering (about 20 lbs when fully watered). I made detailed recordings of the light over the past week to get a better understanding of exactly how much light this guy got under the skylight. Preliminary results show the average DLI (Daily Light Integral) is higher at the skylight than my solarium. Will share more findings soon.
