There’s nothing like fresh collards from your own Homestead let me show you the technique that we use to harvest our collars so what you want to do is you see these two or three small leaves in the center you don’t want to harvest those you want to leave those as they
Are and then you’ll go around and you’ll pick everything else I’m going to leave these for another week or so and then we will have some collards what we call cut and again you just take everything from the surrounding of the plant and the collars will continue to grow so that

Yes yes yes! ❤ Just try not to dead head them. Mine has never survived that but the lady next door hers came back. I have seen so many people on YouTube that remove their collards and replant them every year. People from different places and I just don’t understand why. In Southern California, at least most of it even after they bolt and go to seed they come back again. I have some that are over 4’ tall and a house a few blocks away has some over 8’ tall.
