  1. I understand the question about the kids as far as being inquisitive but it came across as know it all and a busy buddy. People just stay out of other peoples business.😊

  2. I think someone at the community college could hook you up with a CNC machine as a reward for all your work. You could make metal tags for your roses easily.

  3. Paw Paw Everlast Label Company is what I use for metal garden markers. They have different sizes and shapes and have lasted for years for me.

  4. Great recap as always. Love watching these. Your children are you great and you are great parents. I agree with Aaron on the earlier, not our business. Have a blessed day.

  5. I love the kids popping in and out! In no way do they look like they are being exploited. Aaron and Laura are wonderful parents, they have the kids best interest in mind.

  6. I was looking at the coop during that video and thinking that it needs to be moved…it just messes with the view of the Hartley.

  7. Xylitol is the most toxic to dogs. Some dogs do eat everything in the garden. A condition called PICA. My daxie has the problem so I have to be careful (he kept munching my clivias seed pods so I had to move them!). I feel better err on the side of caution, never say never 😊

  8. Well said on the question about your kids! I have always protected my daughter from being posted on the internet because of informed consent. That being said I understand that you guys make your living making videos, and I have always respected the way you include your children. It never seems forced or contrived and it’s obvious that you’re making content that they happen to be in and not using them to make content.

  9. My husband got me a livestock marker which is used for marking on livestock ear tags and it works great! It doesnt fade nearly as fast as other markers! You can get them at farm stores. 😊

  10. You don't want ducks with your pond. They will muck it up and eat your fish. I would not mind having ducks but I won't ever get them because I have a wonderful garden pond too.

  11. Love these recaps with you both. We live in the city and we have a pool with an 8’ fence around the backyard. We have wild ducks that fly over & swoop down and take a swim in the pool. They do poop on the rock edge around the pool and if you don’t wash it off right away it’s not easy to clean up. Have a great week!

  12. 12:35 There are markers that do not fade or erase❗ These are not alcohol-based "permanent" markers, but literally paint in marker form. They are called PaintMarker. You should find them.

P.S. There are also lightfast permanent markers from Centropen (the one I have is made in Czech Republic). 😉

  13. I have to disagree on the plant toxicity and animals. I have worked 32 years in vet med, 14 at the 24 hour emergency hospital. YES, animals eat plant matter they shouldn't! My own 5 cats ate lilies and were hospitalized on fluids for 48 hours. We treated several dogs who ate Yew shrubs.

  14. I’ve often wondered why I had never heard of puncture vine, but that’s because we get plenty of rain, but we get all the other weeds.

  15. Yes i also thought the rest of the pallet path needs to come up. Looks to choppy with the other leading lines near by. Also looks to cutsie going to a arch

  16. Great parents and wonderful kids! Family work together in the garden is a vacation! My children move out many years ago, sometimes , they sent my grandchildren home, it's so fun watching them to play in the garden.
