Splendor that surr You shifting gears let’s explore the Timeless charm of the Kami house designed by paper space a modern Farmhouse that effortlessly marries contemporary Elegance with the classic Allure of a gable roof from above the sweeping lines and inviting silhouette makes a statement of Sophistication un likee most home owners who would opt for rectangular and symmetrical layouts Winston and Amy the proud home owners and also designers of the CI house were captivated by this property because of its non-conventional land size the most interesting change they did to this floor plan is to transform

This irregular shaped Garden into a side Courtyard that is now the central highlight of the property hidden behind a high textured wall entrance once the door opens it gives you an impression as though you have teleported to a different Country a large garden of landscape cocoons the home office keeping the vibe in the office often refreshing and energizing reorientating the staircase to allow for a more spacious living area and bringing down most of the walls to achieve an open floor plan that now enjoys the reew of the side cord

Yet the kitchen was designed to have an interesting Skylight feature ped with a tranquil wheel of a private Garden at the rear the kitchen area feels Lively at all times the entire first floor is designed with a stretch of Skylight that spands across the entire roof from above the

Master bathtub going across the stairwell and all the way to above the laundry area that explains why the entire house doesn’t require artificial lighting during the day at All a dwelling that defies the conventional the cave house designed by Fabian tan architect Purge like a modern Marvel am missst the landscape this semisphere concrete house is a testament to architectural Innovation as we approach the first thing that captures our eye is the unique silhouette of a spherical dramatic

Form when the Pavilion is constructed on a site with an angle it creates a gap between the two structures this allows for a fluent cross ventilation and the interior of the dwelling has sufficient natural light as well multiple series of platforms is an arrangement of high and low hierarchy

Gives the users different experiences and Views throughout the house the smooth concrete curves seamlessly melt with the surround creating an organic almost sculptural presence that challenges the traditional Notions of Home Design the use of concrete not only adds a touch of industrial Elegance but also creates a sense of stability and Timelessness immerse yourself in the cultural tapestry of the grand Japanese house this residence is a harmonious blend of traditional Aesthetics and modern design showcasing how architecture can be a bridge between the past and the future the property is designed by Farah herself with the ingenuous guidance of a designer architect friend Andre

Osman the most astonishing part of this project is that this house is an existing home built in Bali 14 years years ago and then torn down part by part bits by bits and rebuilt here now again in Malaysia both jow and lemson houses represents the rich cultural heritage of

Java and showcase the skillful craftsmanship and Architectural wisdom of the past they offer unique and practical design elements that continue to inspire Architects and homeowners today I truly appreciate the honored details and refined Artistry of the tickwood Furnitures and Stoneworks especially the freestanding Riverstone bathtub and basins these embellishments Add A Touch

Of Elegance and cultur richness to the design part to the top of the tower overlooking a mesmerizing view of the Serene Lake Disturbed only by occasional splash of a fish this day dreaming deck is a welcome RIS bite from the hustle and bustle of the City a gravity defying Masterpiece that seems to float above the landscape suspended by Sleek pillars this architecture Marvel challenges the very notion of what the home can Be the property is designed by architect Stephanie magnan and Amanda of 29 design consultancy sitting on the edge of the Hill overlooking a mesmerizing view of the large Forest Reserve of Damar country Heights so what we wanted is that the house becomes part of nature we wanted

That the house become on the hill and then just float over the trees and and be part of that um and I think that did created a really good uh balconies for for us and also sitting here just overseeing uh the city There most houses in Malaysia are built with large window openings to allow for natural lighting and potentially a great wheel connecting to the Outdoors prepare to have your perception challenge with the window house designed by Form zero its unconventional architecture and irregular shapes redefine the Norms making a bol statement that Echoes both Innovation and artistic expression a shape-shifting Wonder this home transforms its structure throughout the day adapting to the sunlight and the needs of its

Inhabitants From east to west this house is wrapped in an additional layer of perforated concrete wall which appears like a shell apart from acting as a thermal protection with cross ventilation the shell is the first layer to control the Privacy between the house and the concrete shell multi level of landscape

Is inserted in order to create an ambiguous condition which makes the landscape to appear more like an indoor Space the concrete shell is shaped in a telescoping form it is tapered at the front widen towards the forest in both the plan and section like creating a giant window frame to look out to the Forest A residence that redefines luxury living with its lavish marble details state-of-the-art finishes and an Ambience that whisper extravagance at every turn the Lee menion designed by slap 10 showcases a project where every detail is a testament to sophistication and Gro step into the living and dining spaces where the marriage of space and

Shower that mimics a gentle waterfall and the step in Jacuzzi bathtub all meticulously created for an indulgent baithing experience Purge on the edge of a cliff the floating Treehouse designed by inchcape Embraces the concept of living on the edge literally the panoramic wheels are not just a backdrop they are an integral

Part of the living experience blurring the boundaries between the indoors and the Outdoors three story residence that is built on the steep slope that enters at the mid level with a dramatic view that faces the South to the forested hill and West to the sunset this three story residence is built on a steep slope that was meant to be two plots of semi-detached

Property walking towards the living area a sweeping view of this High double volume ceiling and panoramic view of the dramatic scenery of the forest would put anyone in Old in the floating Treehouse the orientation towards the view clashes with the circulation of the sun this becomes a problem as the interior temperature of the house will be raised but by orientating the openings in the house to allow for fluent flow of cool breezes it counteracts the solar gain in the

Project it allows the owners to enjoy the view of the citycape and the forest and the Cool Breeze that gives a sense of closeness between human and nature the last project that will wrap up our top 10 most extraordinary homes episode will be the leang Escape let us

  1. Most houses are beautiful… but the Lee mansion is a little too indulgent. Trying too hard. Beautiful still but less would have been more beautiful

  2. There's an error to the given dimension in the diagram of Villa Sang Turi, it was shown as the length instead of the width.

  3. Extraordinary doesn't necessarily must be all multi million mansions only. If extraordinary can be asily defined by the how much money you have than what's the point? Perhaps better variable of choices can be considered. I am not impress with this list.

  4. Alex and the entire Design Seed team, you do some amazing videos! Enjoyed this one, looking forward to what you have in store for us in 2024!

  5. The small house surrounded with a tropical garden mimicking a jungle is by far my favourite. I feel uneasy when there is too much sunlight in the house. In Malaysia, sunlight equals heat.

  6. Great selections…the last one & the one that was moved from Bali & reconstructed. The windows house lends to the creative mind of an architect for real! Though not my style. Congrats to you and your team for bringing these bold and wonderful designs throughout the year. Much respect from the bright & sunny Caribbean

  7. the last house was ruined by the underpants of the lady………………you should match your inner clothes with the extravagance of the house

  8. 18:29 sitting at a second floor ledge with no harness…..not safe…..bad example. everything else is good. this is bad i wont allow my kids to watch it.

  9. Kami House 4:35 has to be by far my fav. I know I wont be able to afford a luxury big homes like the ones shown in the video. Kami House on the other hand is a more practical house size everyone has and the way they have designed it to maximise natural light yet having a garden is the best thing about the house for me.

  10. Hi Alex, I would like to engage u to do up my up coming property, let me know how I can reach out to you. I did pm u through Instagram but no reply.Thks in advance.

  12. 2nd house is my favorite. The small one in the garden. I like the more normal scale and it’s beautifully designed

  13. I like tropical type of house and also scandinavian. I wonder how the house looks like if tropical and scandinavian design mixed together, that would be my dream house my haven of tranquility ❤❤❤

  14. The Garden House is and has always been my favorite. I love it more every time I see it. Thank you for putting this episode together.
