Lemons aren’t set and forget, they need a bit of love a few times per year. Water well if you’re not getting rain.
Fingers crossed it should bounce back next season.
Edit – that fruit looks very overripe too. Harvest asap.

Harvest the fruit! This isn’t lemon specific some trees will have one final prolific fruit to try and spread its seed before they die, so take away the fruit and the plant will put its energy back into growing again.
