Diagnosis is key:
Observe the leaves: Are they drooping, yellowing, or falling off? This could indicate overwatering, underwatering, lack of light, or nutrient deficiency.

Check the soil: Is it soggy or bone dry? The ideal moisture level is slightly damp.

Examine the pot: Is it too small for the roots? Rootbound plants struggle to thrive.

Treatment plan:
Watering: Adjust your watering schedule based on the soil moisture and the needs of your Schefflera variety. Generally, water deeply when the top inch of soil dries out.

Light: Scheffleras prefer bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight, especially during hot afternoons.

Soil and pot: If the soil is soggy or the pot is too small, repot your Schefflera in a well-draining potting mix and a pot with adequate drainage holes.

Nutrients: Fertilize during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced fertilizer diluted to half strength.

Pruning: Remove any dead or diseased leaves and branches to encourage new growth. You can also prune healthy branches to shape the plant.

Bonus tips:
Mist the leaves regularly, especially in dry weather.
Rotate the pot occasionally for even growth.
Wipe down the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and pests.
