Made this Ecosphere almost 2 years ago here in Northeast TN. I put a few isopods in (Armadillidium nasatum I believe) and they have been reproducing and keeping the jar active! I guess where I live we don’t have springtails in the dirt because I have never seen any in here, I’ve bought some temperate springtails at PetSmart but when I added them in they just disappear (and yes there is crushed plant material mixed in with the soil). The side that faces the windowsill seems to have algae growing in the soil since that’s where most of the water wants to go. I also don’t know what plant species this clover looking stuff is or the tall grass in the corners so if any of y’all know I would appreciate it lol.
