Hey everybody Joe here from dark animals and today I’m doing a review of Lego set 10315 tranquil Garden which is yet another beautiful set from the icons theme and as the name suggests features a miniaturized version of a Japanese garden it’s a very impressive set that

Offers a lot of variety even if it is balanced with lots of repetition let’s take a closer look the entire build is contained in this black pot which is meant to resemble the one from the Lego bonsai tree set and I love how well-rounded offit is with absolutely

Zero visible studs the legs of the pot not only looks good but also serves a functional purpose as the rubber base keeps the set firmly in place the surface of the Bol is excellently divided between land and water with some rocks on the one side of the shore where

The Pavilion is placed the stream running through the Bold is made so much better by the addition of these printed tiles featuring some Quay fish and the best part is that we get two variants of these fish we also get a few water lies floating on the surface the bows of the

Flowers are so simple and yet so so elegant on the shore we get some Stone lanterns and small shrubs here and there and the nice thing is that you can place them wherever you want which is a bit of a running theme throughout the set and

Of course the designers also snuck in a little frog statue into the set speaking of trees we get an excellent variety of them from the well-crafted evergreen tree which I think is a Japanese Cedar utilizing the upside down Fern pieces to this very Japanese looking tree with the

Three layers of greenery and of course it would not be complete without these two cherry blossoms this the cherry blossoms were my least favorite part of the bowl due to the repetitive leaves but the end result is definitely worth it in addition to the trees we also get

This group of bamboo shoots that can be positioned at a variety of angles thanks to these ball joints unfortunately the gray base does stand out a bit and I wish they could have recolored it to match the green finally we have one single large Stone Boda I really love

These curved tiles because it definitely Nails the look of these iconic garden decorations all of these elements are on these green squares that allows you to easily add or remove them from your set to personalize your display which is a fantastic Concept in keeping with the idea of tending to your

Garden as You Follow the winding stepping stone pathway with its clumps of vibrant green moss you arrive at one of the most recognizable elements of any Japanese garden the beautiful red arched bridge that serves as an excellent focal point of the set thanks to the way that

The red stands out in between all of the greenery and Crossing that bridge allows us to reach the main element of the set the Pavilion has some great part usage that gives it that unique Japanese architectural feel like these black railings gold accents ornate curved roof tiles and the white window pieces to

Represent the Shi paper I do wish they used printed transparent tiles like the Ninjago Temple of a Jutsu to let in a little bit more light but it’s not a deal breaker I also like how the Pavilion is built at an angle on these wooden stilts and the large layered

Stepping Stones leading up to the entrance looks great great these little slippers left at the door is also a very cool detail inside the structure we find a traditional tea ceremony with all the appropriate details such as the green matcha tea in the bowls a teapot and

Even the Little Brush it’s expertly laid out with so much care and it really completes the set I just wish Lego added one minifigure to place into the scene I feel like the set was really well thought out and the care that went into designing the set really shows it’s

Definitely one of the most aesthetically pleasing sets I have ever built and barring some repetition it was also an enjoyable and rewarding build that honestly was over way too quickly the fact that the set looks good from every single angle and its modu in nature makes for the perfect display set and

One that I can easily recommend to anyone anyways let me know what you thought about this set in the comments and please consider liking or subscribing to the channel if you like this review and what we do and as always thanks for watching
