Unsure if ecosphere is doing well. Most of the plants have died. Algae seems to be there and animal diversity probably halved and there seems to only be snails and fat red worms. Scuds and boogie worms gone.

Same thing happened to me
My first jar went the same way. My second one is doing a lot better with more green plants and lots of sun.
I have a jar thats a year old scuds ruined the plants when the population exploded now they’re maximum size is about half of what i caught the original ones at. I believe theyre just living off micro algea and dead homies. Feel like all my jars with only snails are still going way better.
It looks like it’s lacking light?
It’s by a window and gets 3-4 hours of sunlight a day. I moved it for easier access of photos.
