Dragon fruit, also known as pitaya or pitahaya, is a tropical fruit with a truly exotic appearance. It has vibrant pink or yellow skin with green, scale-like spikes, resembling a mythical dragon. Inside, the flesh is usually white with tiny black edible seeds, though a rarer variety has red flesh.

How to a Eat Dragon Fruit:
1. Choose a ripe fruit: It should be slightly soft to the touch and have vibrant colored skin.
2. Cut in half lengthwise: Scoop out the flesh with a spoon, or cut it into cubes.
3. Enjoy! Eat it fresh, or add it to smoothies, salads, or yogurt for a burst of flavor and healthy nutrients.

Origins: Native to Central and South America, but now grown in tropical and subtropical regions around the world.
