Hey everyone Aaron here thank you so much for tuning in to this week’s Amazon pics and so this week I’m focusing on gardening things um I love gardening I’ve done gardening almost my whole life and I love experimenting with different things and so this time we’re trying the

Micro greens and I actually just harvested some this morning for my avocado sandwich so I’ll make sure to show you that video um I picked up this super cute little Moon which I transplanted some of our succulents in here and if you’re not a plant grower

You could easily go to a craft shop get some succulents hot glue them in there and make it look super cute as well um but I definitely think that is a lot of fun and even on Amazon they had options where you could hang it on the wall next

Would be some herbal teas in a box you’ve got editable flowers that you could grow and everything that you need is in this kit so I’ll show you that in a moment and then I did had never heard of this brand of fertilizers and so I

Thought why not give this one a try I seen a lot of great reviews on it and so I’ve actually just started with the grow blend and I went and watered all of my plants in the living room um with this one and then if you scan the QR code on

The back or you go on their website you can actually see their growing instructions so that was definitely very interesting and then for those of you after you’re done gardening and like me you’re experiencing the tight shoulders maybe a sore low back I want to highlight this head massager it is so

Fun and I’ll show you how it works but this is definitely something that you can use on more than just your scalp but to help with those tight muscles and then lastly touching base on some essential oils that are excellent in the garden for those of you that might be

Looking for a more holistic approach with the micro greens kit it comes in a box like this you have your base tray you have an an inside tray and then it also comes with two layers of the hemp at which you’re going to like lay over the base and it comes

With two types of seed packets so you’ve got broccoli you’ve got mixed salad so I actually have mixed salad in here right now it gives you the instructions on how much water to put in here to get them started and then here’s your covers so this is what you’re going to put over

Your seedlings for the first three days until they shoot up and then you take it off you can either put them in a window or I actually put mine next to my hydroponic Gardens which I’ll show you how my lettuce and my basil are doing um and then that has really helped

Encourage the growth of these seedlings so it says on here that you can Harvest them within 8 to 14 days and so I’m actually going on a trip here shortly so I’m going to try to get all of my greens eaten before I leave um as I you know

Just don’t want them to go to was waist and then when I get back I’m going to start my next batch and have some more you know greens ready to go as it just doesn’t take very long now for the growing herbal teas and so in here it of course has instructions

On how you go about germinating and growing these seeds if you’re not familiar with it I also wanted to point out how Garden Republic created these really cute boxes which I plan to use to store my extra seeds and I’ll show you also in my hydroponic garden how I have

My cinnamon basil growing in the back of my regular basil as I’m really excited to try these and I also like the fact that these are non-GMO heirloom type seeds and on the back of course it gives you all that information and there’s about 25 seeds in each pack and so in

Here you also have the wooden steaks some information and then you’ve got chamomile peppermint catnip margom lavender fennel eonia lemon balm and dandelion and if you’ve never tried lemon balm in your teas oh my goodness I have fallen in love with that one and I actually am hoping mine comes back and

I’ll give you a quick tour of my outdoor raised bed garden where all of these seeds will end up going come summer um I’ll start them indoors at least the ones that are okay to start indoors and then the rest I’m just going to start outside um as last year I had really

Great success with growing my herbs so I cannot believe it it is February 1st and like we barely have any snow here on the farm but I wanted to show you my outdoor garden and I’ll give you a little bit of up close so this has

Been my labor of love project this last year getting all of these garden beds in so that I can start growing more things here at home what happened to be on my channel for a while now you’ve seen last summer I talked about just having these

First two garden beds at which I started transplanting a lot of different things in them and so now I’m just kind of storing things for the winter months as we can’t really start planting anything until Memorial Day weekend um but what I have done is these will be two of my my

Vegetable beds over here this one is going to be all of my peppermints and we’ll see what actually survives um from our winter but I had five different types of peppermint in here this last year and these garden beds are about 8 ft long this one is 2T wide those are

About 4T wide um really happy with these types and again they’re the best choice brand very pleased with those these two 8×4 ft Beds which I still need to get my dirt in them those are going going to actually be my tomatoes and peppers um and I’m going to intermix sunflowers and

Some other herbs in there so I’ll keep you updated on that as we get closer to Spring and then here I tried two different brands of garden beds and you can find those on my Amazon Channel just search garden beds and these will pop up so if you’re looking for something a

Little smaller and in here I actually have my lavender my lemon balm my thyme Rosemary basil uh basil was in here uh chives cilantro so there was a lot of different herbs that I transplanted in here and we’ll just see if it comes back so far our winter has been very mild as

You can tell cuz we barely have snow the maple syrup sap is running and it’s going to be like 45° today so it’s so crazy to have such warm weather here in Central Wisconsin as far as a tool shed goes whether it’s in your garage or your garden shed this one I

Just picked up and it’s pretty cool it actually comes in four sections and I only have one section up each one has either a bar that you can set your rake on or it has these fun little hooks that will actually kind of hold help hold your brooms or different things up

Against the wall and so I plan to put a couple of these in my garage and put up another one in here just to help keep some of our garden tools organized and then as you heard me mention with the herbal te te here’s my collection of

Dried teas um and some fruits of course and a couple of these I did purchase like the marshmallow root uh the raspberry leaves as I wanted more of those the Hibiscus the lavender flowers but otherwise the rest of these I picked and dehydrated um from my last year’s

Crop here’s one of our other hydroponic Gardens um with this the light on it and in the back here I actually just just planted some of the cinnamon basil as I’m really excited to try that with the herbal teas another product by Garden Republic is edible edit edible flowers and this

Of course is your instruction booklet again giving you tips and tricks to how to grow your seeds and get the most out of these and so you have nestum you have corn flowers you have Mara Golds and then the Via and so it’s so nice to put

A different little bit of color in your foods and it’s nice to know that these are safe for internal consumption so I like the fact that Garden Republic put that together for us on the back again it gives you that information for getting them started now also in this

Box and what makes it such a great gift is that it does have its own little packets and they’re plastic lined they do have a drain hole um at which you can put these dirt pods in here and then set set them in here cuz there’s actually a plastic liner

Inside this box and you could actually start all four of your seeds in here and keep them going and then you’ve also got plant label tags that comes with some really fun grass so if you’re looking for a really fun gift for a friend or your mom for Mother’s Day I would be

Excited to get this gift and I would totally use it so um hopefully that’s an encouragement for you if you’re just looking for a fun gift or something just for yourself so those are both by Garden Republic and I am very pleased with those products next on the list is the

Lotus um fertilizer and so this is a premium plant nutrient this is the calcium magnesium it’s a 40 and again it’ll give you that what’s total in here it tells you to mix a quarter to a half a teaspoon per gallon and again if you want to see their feeding schedule you

Can scan this code it seems to be more geared towards cannabis but um obious obviously you can use this for Gardens um vegetables flowers and all the like just follow their planting um fertilizing guide this is the Boost Series so the 11530 you’ve got nitrogen phosphorus

Poach sulfur and again it’s a half a teaspoon per gallon in the bloom it’s a 51014 and you’ve got nitrogen you’ve got phosphate poach calcium magnesium sulfur Bor on copper iron magnes and zinc and this is uh 3/4 to 1 and 1/2 teaspoons per gallon and if you can see the size

Comparison of this to my hand there is a lot of feedings to one of these sample packs so I def unless you have a really really big Garden um this is going to last you a long time then for the grow Pro Series it’s an a1413 we have nitrogen phosphate poach

Calcium magnesium sulfur Bor on copper iron magnes and zinc um and it even talks about for hydroponic or continuous liquid feed um for vegetable gardens and here’s what it actually looks like and it it’s very it’s very interesting it doesn’t look like what I would think of as traditional

Fertilizer but it mixes up really well like I said I fed my um house plants here just recently and so I’ll keep you updated on if I’m noticing a tremendous change in my Gardens and plants here at for how this really fun scalp massager

Works so there is a cord plugs in here I actually have it charging on like our end table and so you just literally set this CU it has the little metal Clips there you set it inside the base and it automatically charges to turn it on

There’s a power button on the top you just press it and you can see how it’s massaging so like you just literally put it my I catch my kids doing this all the time just sitting in the chair massaging their head but you you could also use it

On the neck and shoulders so this is where I see it being super beneficial if you’ve been in the garden a lot and you’re just super sore and you just need to like massage some of those muscles so I really like this and obviously you can wash this it’s got different

Speeds and to turn it off just hold it down but these actually pop off so you can wash these if you need to if you’ve got somebody with a dirty scalp and you don’t want to put it back on your scalp you know what I mean so but anyway a

Super fun little toy um so I’ll leave a link in the description below if that’s something you want to add to your collection of selfcare one other Garden hack I’m going to try this year are these grow trays that already have the lights in them and

They come with a remote control so you can of course do the settings um you can change the lights different things like that and then I actually found these compostable and they actually fit right in here so I’m just going to take a drywall knife

And cut them but this is what I’m going to start by edit editable flowers and some of my teas in here so that when it’s time to plant them in my garden I don’t have to disrupt them so much trying to take them out of this I can

Just simply cut it again with a drywall knife and maybe you could do that before you actually put these in here so that they’re already separated um but that’s something I’m going to do they do come with plastic tags a little scoop if you want to actually just put the dirt right

In here so um definitely lots of different options and then one other tip to making your plants more hearty before you transplant them outside would be to put a fan on them so when you’re done with putting the grow light on them and maybe you’re getting enough sunshine in

The window that you have them in um or even just prop this up so that they’re still getting the light um and you could do that maybe by sticking some pencils in here to hold the corners up but have a fan blowing on them with a very light

Speed that’s going to help sturdy up your plants before you transplant them outside and then of course to hearty them also put them outside a few hours every day up to when you’re going to plant them outside now for the really cute Moon succulent planter and so I chose the

Tabletop version and I’m just transplanting some of my succulents from this bigger container and so positioning them as a a little more interesting and you don’t need a lot of dirt for succulents which is nice but I wanted to make sure I had a decent base there to hold the

Moisture and then once you kind of pull off you know all that little dirt in pieces and stuff a little bit more dirt around them here you go now I can’t wait for summer and watch it to really get big when it comes to essential oils in

The garden and as you all know my favorite is dotera I love the research that goes into their products the quality and I just know that it’s not a fragrance that I’m using on my plants but actual pure essential you know plant extracts and so some of your top ones

Mentioned are going to be Cedar Wood peppermint lavender tea tree um also in here mentions lemongrass you know so if you’re looking for Pest Control fungus suppressant ant spray pollinator attractor and pest repellant and I’ll include these in the description um but did you know and I’m just going to read

You this quick article here at the bottom 85% of all plant disease is fungal related Avid gardeners spend lots of time Outdoors connecting with the Earth and nurturing their plants in the sun unfortunately there are pests and fungal diseases that can impede growth and reduce the Harvest of producing

Plants rather than turning to harmful chemicals to address the challenges try all natural solutions to keep your garden organic and especially with like my herbs which is interesting because like peppermint you know has a a lot of these Pest Control benefits so having my herbs planted with my um garden

Vegetables and that’s something I’m going to focus more on this year as well is campanion planting and what herbs can I be intermixing with my vegetables to get you know more benefit and so again some other tips for peppermint for us not necessarily the plants peppermint is

Actually my favorite when it comes to mosquitoes and I get a mosquito bite I just put drop on my finger put it on the spot and it goes right away it’s also great in a spray bottle for cooling off in fact I’m taking some on our trip with

Us as we’re going to be in the sun and it might get kind of hot so rather than bring a battery operated fan I’m just going to bring a spray bottle with peppermint in it and just mist my body as it’s a natural coolant um the cedar

Wood is also great again just great for the skin like adding it to Epson salt and soaking in it it’s just great for the skin it’s also great at bedtime tea tree of course the Fung antifungal benefits but it’s also a great immune supporter and again cleansing your gardening tools and different things

Like that you can create a spray bottle of this if you get a scrape or a cut you can put a spray bottle of this and lavender together on the ooi it’ll not only help soothe the skin but help you know make sure that it’s clean and free

Of any ickies and then lavender also is H great for calming the skin especially if you’ve been in the sun too long relaxing muscles um so hopefully this helps you and if interested in you know trying some of the do products out I will leave a 25% off discount code in
