Yesterday, after speaking at ProGreen Expo, I had the opportunity to visit the @denverbotanic Gardens. This Dieffenbachia was one of my fav plants that I met there. Its long trunk tells me it has lived here happily for many years.

“as new leaves are produced, old ones tumble to the forest floor where they are quickly consumed by decomposers.” – therefore, the older leaves on your houseplants *WILL* fall off. Different plants exhibit different rates of leaf turnover. When you can accept this, you will enjoy houseplants beyond just decor that require maintenance.
