Very squishy. Nearing the end of winter it started to look like this so I dipped it in water twice and let it drain, no results from that.

Lithops need to have like no water,it’s a desert plant. Don’t water it when the soil immediately turns dry, wait until you see that the lithop is very squishy or it’s wrinkly.Don’t dip them multiple times in water, also,Make sure it’s get a hella lot of sun,cuz they like sun, that’s honestly all I have to say because I only own 1 of them and not an expert at them.

    No watering at all!!!!!!

Your lithops is splitting. See down inside the crack at the top? Those are the new baby leaves growing and pushing out! They absorb all the nutrients and water out of the adult leaves. If you add additional water during this time the new baby leaves will be overwhelmed with too much water and rot. The adult leaves will wither and turn into crunchy dry thin husks you can pluck off the top of the plant when the process is done. The baby leaves can take a month or two to finish pushing all the way out the top so no water while this is happening!
