  1. Mesto Sprayer – Mesto 360 Sprayer – https://bit.ly/3wm8ESq

We literally bought out all the Mesto Sprayers the US distributer had in stock! Hopefully we have enough but if we do end up selling out, just know we brought in as many as possible and will order more as soon they get more in! – Aaron

  2. Hi, Laura and Aaron. Love the video today. On the subject of whether there should be a pool or wildflower meadow on the new property, I say pool!!! NOT A NORMAL RECTANGLE SHAPED ONE THOUGH!!! One that looks like your aqua scape pond but has no fish in it. It can still have some characteristics that make it look like a common pool, but not so much that it wouldn't look right on your new property. 😁 If you don't like that, just get a regular pool and plant a ton of beautiful plants around it to make it look nicer.

  3. I use landscape fabric for row planting like floret does. But every other year I’m planning on lifting it up and putting compost/fertilizer underneath

  4. Aaron, "Outlaw all herbicides & landscape fabric!". We see lots of plastic as weed barrier in large commercial applications. Pool Location: I agree with Laura. Close enough to enjoy. The lights at night from your balcony –angelic. Also, the balcony provides a watchful eye of teenage pool parties. Wildflower Meadow–I sent you a link after your pond was done via email. I'll resend it. They used paths, trees, and Hartley as boarders. They mow it–Aaron –Mowing. From the pond the meadow leads you to the "Back 40" –a wonderful place to ride. Horse Facility: Bathrooms, hot & cold running water. I'll send you another link of La Lomita Ranch, San Luis Obispo, CA for inspiration. Consider making it a multi-use facility. Looking forward to using my Hose-Link, and Green-stalk tower this season. Garden Answer Inspires me! From infrastructure to plantings –anything is possible–you be you.

  5. I love how willing you are to talk and learn about horses with us ❤️ you get a lot of good advice from the other people in the horse community each time you share your ideas with us. Especially when you’ve not nailed them down or buttoned them up yet. So anything I saying with the knowledge that your in a listen and learn phase of the horse barn project, and that I’m eager to toss my two cents in for your consideration.

Re: paddocks, stalls, arena. Visually this will be gorgeous, and can work over all… Keep in mind that horses are heard animals and will benefit from living a life together as much as can be accomplished. Separation should be build into the design because ultimately it will be necessary sometimes. The idea of having one horse stalls with attached one horse paddocks comes from boarding barns where none of the horses belong to the same people and/or move in and out frequently; as with breading/training/veterinarian. Your horses would only need to be keep separate for specific purposes; introduction, weaning, lameness, or should permanent separation truly be required. Otherwise it would be ideal for it to be assumed that the horses will turn out together, shelter from wind and rain together. They are heard animals but even more than that they are prey animals. They get a lot of comfort from sleeping together, eating together, and being given the opportunity to develop a “lead mare.” Which is the older, wiser, calmer alpha horse that lets the other mates and geldings know if something is worth getting spooked over. That won’t happen if they all live in relative isolation and view each other as in separate silos. I say other mares and geldings because you won’t have a stallion, the males you have will be gelded, and will often be lower in the hierarchy than an older wiser mare in a herd dynamic.

Ps. Don’t have a stallion under any circumstances, even if given to you free. They require a leave of care not enjoyable for beginners and even the majority of advanced riders.

  6. I just to work at a Dry Cleaner store,( pick up and drop off place), and we always had lots of extra wire hangers customers brought back. Just go ask.

  7. Yes on the pool!! Love the video! Kiddos are so cute! Ohh Douglas is adorable! Aaron and Melissa love you guys too! And yes Bethany and Paul are great workers!

  8. 35:42 AAron this is why my husband left the corporate life. He worked 29 yrs for a major manufacturer in the US. Meeting after meeting and no one could get anything done or the powers that be would hold it up. He’s so happy now that he’s paroled from that (his words not mine…he wasn’t in jail😂)

  9. Laura are you wanting a horse barn like the ones you saw in Mackinac Island?
I'm on team Aaron for the pool😂 I recall Laura got the Hartley, the grand piano, the potting she'd So I think Aaron should get His pool before the horses!! Just saying😂😂 Get your pool Aaron! Perfect spot would be in the grass area by the Hartley, Just get rid of your willow tree!😂 Love your channel❤

  10. A wildflower meadow would be amazing. Hope Laura plans out a spot for that because it's low maintenance but so lovely and attractive to pollinators.

  11. I think the kids would enjoy a tether ball. I know I did as a kid. And could play by myself went my sister didn’t want to.

  12. Ducks YES! I had one growing up. They are wonderful! ❤ You don't have room 4 horses…. Pool, you'd have all the school kids in it later, accidents? Lawsuits?

  13. My first thought when I saw the red barn was that it is so charming. I vote for keeping it red, but white would make it seem more connected to the rest of the property.❤

  14. It’s so fun listening to the ideas and dreams you and Aaron have. Ducks and wild flowers sound amazing. Anything you do is always perfection.

  15. Isn’t this stock for your shop going against your parents nursery as they sell garden tools people could order from your parents x

  16. What a treasure of information this video was. I love the way you and Aaron interact..such love. Also the kids,,they add so much joy. We have a granddaughter a lot like Samantha Grace, she is Evelyn Grace she brings so much joy to our lives we enjoy just her every time we're together. Keeps us laughing all the time. Enjoy watching you all.
Thank you for sharing with all of us.❤❤❤❤

  17. Commercial melon growers in our area use plastic to hold heat into the ground in order to plant seedlings earlier and be able to compete in the melon markets. The plastic and drip line is then removed when harvest is done. Similar like you do when you replace drip line. Hopefully there will be something developed to substitute for that in the future. Plastic isn't used for weed control in our area much, good change in the commercial agricultural industry.

  18. Great video Laura and Aaron! It's always fun to recatch what I miss from the daily video. And, I love watching and listening to you together. You are such a great team! There's probably not a lot of married couples that can work so closely together and agree on as much as you do. Perfect match!

  19. It’s interesting about landscape fabric…here in wales if fabric is ever used the weeds just eventually germinate on the top of the fabric 😂😂as the wet here ….so it’s a big pain 😂…try pulling out a weed that’s growing on landscape fabrics 🥴🥴❤❤❤

  20. We no longer have wire clothes hangers anywhere in our towns….just above Cal Poly University….The dry cleaners may still have them, but not sure
