  1. Which of these veggies will you be planting to get ahead in Feb? Thanks for gardening with us! -CaliKim and CameraGuy

  2. I've got collards, broccoli. spinach, beets, onions, lettuce, garlic chives, and garlic growing. Most of these have been growing all winter. My broccoli plants are still little and are just starting to get true leaves. I planted peas yesterday. I've planted some cabbage seeds I ordered from your winter collection but they haven't sprouted yet. I don't seem to have much luck trying to grow cabbage.

  3. Ugh, I purchased six more raised beds for my garden, four 2ft x 4 ft, and two 3ft x 6ft. Well, at least they will be replacing sixteen 30 gallon grow bags. three of the smaller raised beds will be used for zucchini, crookneck squash, and Lemon Squash. The other one will be used for ground cherries. One of the two larger raised beds will be used for cantaloupe and Sugar Baby Watermelon. The last one will be used for planting potatoes. Today I sowed seeds for Goji Berries and ground cherries. Last weekend I purchased a 7ft tall Honeycrisp apple tree and an 8ft tall Fuji apple tree. Now that it has started drying out a little, it is time to dig holes and plant trees. On my To Do list, I have about 150 tomato and pepper seedlings that need to be potted up. Freezing weather is in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday, but the weather is clear for my planned seed starting day, Feb 20th. I'll be sowing seeds for Malaga Radish, German Giant Radish, snow peas, shelling peas, golden beetroot, assorted lettuces, Danvers carrots, and Imperator carrots. I have potatoes chitting; they go in the ground the first week of March. February is my busiest month of the garden season, and I made it busier this year by planting an orchard and growing seed starts for a spring plant sale.

  4. @CaliKim29 Would love to plant the broccoflower. I don’t have much luck with cauliflower or broccoli in my area. Could you possibly point me into the direction of where I can purchase those seeds? Maybe from you? 😊

  5. Thanks again its good to know what to plant and when. I hate when I want to plant something and it's to late and I have to wait another year. I have already started onions last week and will get some peas and the others you suggested started tomorrow.
