  1. Every time I watch one of your videos I get inspired. I only have a small lot to grow on and the only full sun area is in the front yard which is approximately 25 x 50‘. I’d love your thoughts on where and how to grow.fruit trees

  2. Give little Tuck a head pat from me & a big hello from Patriot (our border collie). Thank you for the raspberry info. My grandfather, my father and my sister (MI) have grown a raspberry (all came out of my grandfathers garden). My sister gave me a start from hers to bring home to WA. I don't know what kind of raspberry it is. Your info will help me know – thank you. Don't know the species but so far it is enjoying and doing well up here on the mountain 🙂 Love your videos and your joyful spirit!

  3. How do you keep the birds from eating all your grapes? When we lived in the Washington DC area, we had a covered patio with green grapes hanging over head. What looked to be about a week or so before the grapes were ripe, I noticed 99% of the grapes were gone, all in one day. Later a black bird flew under the grapes, hung upside down and ate the last bunch. I was shocked. What could I have done? I would like to try again at our new house.

  4. James love watching you! Very inspiring and impressive. Can you give info about blueberries and thornless blackberries too? I just planted those last summer (along with raspberries-don’t know which) and no idea how to prune! Thx!

  5. Yeah, I messed up pruning raspberries last year. I didn't know what type they were and chopped them to the ground.
No fruit this year but hopefully a heap next year.
Great video James and thanks for you and Tuck's energy. It really inspires me to get out there and grow more.❤❤

  6. I have raspberries that produce massively in June, and decently at the end of august on the canes that came up in the spring, and those are the canes for next years spring crop. To make sure I know which canes need to go, I tie string on the the canes that flower in spring. Can I prune those out in summer?

  7. Not 10 minutes ago, I was just thinking that I need to research how to prune the table grapes that I planted last spring and here is James coming to my rescue. Brilliant timing! Thanks!!

  8. Thanks for vid, but on one point I am confused. He mentioned North American grapes and how they produce fruit, but contrasted that with Muscadine, but Muscadine IS a N. American grape, so just how does a Muscadine produce fruit??

  9. I really enjoy all of your videos and my friends and i get so much out of them ,that i just would feel like a robber to take your teachings without supporting your passion, if I could afford more I would definitely think you’re worth it , having so much fun since I found you and tuck,i I thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤my happy chickens thank you too , just built them a chicken play ground with a swing and all.

  10. To bad this video wasn't up two days ago. I think i over pruned half my grapes. Two are concord and I can't remember the other two. But they put on close to the vine. The concord didn't. I left them a little longer than the other two but don't think long enough. The longer produce does the fruit get better over the years? Then first year they didn't taste that great.
