I have 1-2inches of mud capped with 1-2 inches of sand in my 9month old shrimp+Cory tank. I know this is a terrible angle but any idea what this could be?
Iām kinda surprised bc I never really saw much activity in the substrate layers, other people said it looked too compact/dense

But there’s no way I can make out what that is supposed to be. I’d need to see more.
