Congrats Jackson.
I love the evolution of growing spaces. I like to think they reflect our evolution as gardeners and as people. This will be my 3rd growing season here and each year I rearrange and add and refine what works in this space. I love that your traveling young man is staying close to home, and the peace that gives his Mom. That table is gorgeous.

Aww I know that just makes your mama heart sing. My oldest is pursuing life on her own next year so not far behind you and it's such a hard thing to grasp being proud, happy and sad at the same time that your baby is leaving the nest. ❤
Congratulations to Jackson I know he will do big things and be fantastic! You've done an amazing job with him. My only son (second born) is struggling on his own in school (sophomore) so we are beginning a new part of our journey as we begin to homestead we're also beginning to homeschool keep us in your prayers as well if you don't mind as we excitedly but overwhelmed navigate this new adventure.

My cousin's son majored in International Business and was fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He lived/worked in Hong Kong for many years. He then went to law school. Very successful!

My second son wanted to go to university in our hometown and I told him he could live for free at home as long as he is educating. That was standard for all three of my kids.

🦋 The table is done! At long last! ✨So gorgeous, but yes I do see what you mean about the glare. It’s wonderful that we all have the design memorized from seeing it in the leaning position that it was paused in while other things were more of a priority.
