I’m looking for suggestions for cover material to replace on this greenhouse. It is located in the foothills of California. We are wanting to use the greenhouse for vegetables/flowers and possibly trees if suitable. There will be other maintenance to the greenhouse to allow for airflow on the and east/west entrances. The sides (length of the greenhouse) roll up on the bottom to the 2×4/rail to allow north/south ventilation.
The winter months here do get chilly and snow is possible, but not always certain. There is power ran to it so using it year round may be an option for us too.
My question is what covering is tough and lasting. Obviously we don’t want something clear because it does get super hot in the summer months and I’m afraid it would burn everything up. I’d love suggestions and I will go research all materials suggested.
