January is when gardening begins
Gardening begins now! While January might be cold and gray (and full of ice and snow for some of us right now), it’s actually the perfect time to start dreaming and planning for your garden.
This is the month to pour over seed catalogs, sketch out garden designs, and maybe even start some seeds indoors. Start your preparation and anticipation now!
So grab a cup of tea, your favorite garden book, website or catalog, and start envisioning the lush, vibrant garden that will come to life in just a few months.
A few of my favorite places to peruse for seeds and inspiration would be Baker Heirloom, Johnny Seeds, Farmhouse Flower Farm but I also just love to sit back and dream of my spaces and containers, and research new ideas!
Now is the time to dream big and lay the groundwork for a beautiful, thriving garden. Your future self will thank you when you’re surrounded by blooms and bounty!
