The tomato plant has been growing slowly, and we’ve been dealing with spider mites, but I have a tomato contender! Gary at The Rusted Garden has challenged me to a beefsteak tomato challenge to see who can grow the biggest beefsteak tomato in a good old fashioned grow off. In this update, I show you the contender, prune off damaged leaves, spray for spider mites, give my plant a mid-season boost and ask for your help in naming my tomato plant!
