All right y’all coming back to the table we got Acer pictum Hoshi adori yo Hoshi adori is a selection from the secondhand been run list from the 1800s that means it’s a really old Japanese maple selection but it’s amazing it’s a Batwing Maple with bright yellow variegation ah Hoshi adori is incredible

For that color pattern again another one in that usagumo kind of family but you’ve got that swirling distinctive variegation it’s typically a light green on dark green for most of the Season although in early spring it kind of has more yellow overall Hues to it beautiful

Upright tree now this one does get kind of big fills out about a foot to a foot and a half of growth a year I’ve seen a mature specimen of this at the National botanical garden in Belgium and it was over 20 feet tall it was spectacular
