Here’s the plan:
Gather your supplies: You’ll need sharp scissors, a container with well-draining soil, and your String of Watermelons plant.
Pick the perfect plumpness: Choose healthy stems with at least 4-6 leaves. Snip them just below a leaf node (the little bump where the leaf meets the stem).
Strip it down (a little): Remove the bottom few leaves to expose the stem beneath.
Water or soil?: You can choose two propagation methods:
Water propagation: Place the cuttings in a glass of water, ensuring the nodes are submerged. You’ll see tiny roots spouting in a few days! Once the roots are about an inch long, transplant them into individual pots with succulent mix.
