In this video I talk about how easy it is to put the East Oak Storage Deck Box together and also practical uses for it. This was given to me for the purpose of testing it out and reviewing it.

Hello everyone I wanted to talk about this East Oak 90g deck box that was given to us to test and review I was really excited to get this because this is something we need on our property it looks good and is designed well and was really easy to put together it’s
Actually fun to put together I enjoy projects like this but it didn’t take much time at all each panel is labeled with a letter and an arrow so you know which way to face them when you put them together and they easily click together so you know that they’re going together
Properly you start with panel B on the bottom and then you take the small C side panels and click them into place then all you need to do next is take the a panel put it on top make sure everything is lined up properly and then
You can click those into place I just Ed my hands and gently hit the top of the panel and they clicked into place easily then the next thing you do is flip it over on its side so panel a is facing you and then you take the d panel
Face it inwards and then place it on top the D panel was a little harder to tap into place with my hand So the instructions mention using a rubber mallet which I didn’t have so I just used a hammer and a wood block so I put the wood block on top and tapped
Everything into place and you can see here how it lines up nice and neat now the top panel is labeled J and this needs a reinforcing metal bar so it keeps this top panel nice and sturdy since you’re going to be opening and closing this top panel and all you need
To do is find the holes line them up and put in the four screws I put the screws in Loosely at first and then tightened everything up once all four screws were in and everything was lined up once that metal bar is put into place
All you need to do is take the J panel and put it on top line it up and it has three areas where you click it into place so make sure everything is lined up and then you just tap them into place and you’ll hear that click so everything
Is super easy to put together and the last thing you need to do is put the hydraulic rods which I really really like they make this lid open up nice and smoothly and you just need to put them on both sides with five screws and simply line up the holes
Again and drill in the screws and this makes for a nice smooth opening and closing and that’s about it for putting it together again I enjoy doing projects like this and it’s a quick easy fun project that anybody what he can do now this deck box as you can see it looks
Nice and to me from looking inside and looking at the edges and all it does look weatherproof and waterproof like they talk about it is UV and fade resistant and it should be pretty durable and long lasting I can see that by the material that you see on the
Outside it has these side handles for lifting it up and I was able to lift this up myself um but it’s easy if you get uh one person on each side if you have stuff in it to move it around so this can be used indoors and Outdoors
You can use it outside near your pool for pool toys you can use it for garden tools sports equipment you can put your patio furniture pillows in there you could do home storage organization and what we’re going to end up using this for is out near our
Pasture we’re going to put some of our goat feed in here and keep it nice and dry and it does have a lot of space for us to put plenty of bags in there so pretty excited to use this I’m very happy with it so far again one of
My favorite things is how easy the top opens and closes it does have an area where you can secure it with a lock if you need to I’m pretty excited about this and I would recommend it after putting it together and getting to use
