The strawberry seedlings were placed in an area with far away light while I was away from home, and now they’re looking rather stretched out. I don’t want to risk any issues with leggy seedlings, but I’ve also read that burying the strawberry crown can kill the plant, and online sites almost always recommend burying the seedling when repotting to help. So I’m wondering if anything can be done for the seedlings, or if they’re a lost cause at this point?

I’d just give them sufficient light, and when they have more leaves perhaps pinch them back. They should be fine.
