One of my Monarch caterpillars had been curled up and still for two cold days. The sun was out today, and I was keeping close watch on it. I came out to the garden for herbs and celery, and saw mint green and squiggling, and I ran for my camera. I didn’t see how the green appeared. Only the writhing of the body inside the sock.
