That wasn’t the best idea, unless you cleaned it first. You don’t know how many eggs and seeds and whatnot of terrestrial bugs and plants are in there that all will decay and cause a stink…that’s the problem with putting land stuff in water. Hopefully you got lucky and it wasn’t much.
I don’t know where the golf cart path is…assuming on a golf course? I just see landscaping in my head and how much pesticides they use…if nothing happens, you know why.
In any case tho, you do need an aquatic plant in there.
