Hurry up and plant your peas! Snow peas, snap peas, & shelling peas #garden #gardeningtips #plants

Hurry up and direct sow seeds for all sorts of peas before its too late! I start direct sowing seeds for snow peas, snap peas, and sweet shelling peas (fresh green peas) in November, with December being the last month. Zone 8 gardeners can still continue direct sowing peas into January. Peas do not like the heat whatsoever. The vines start to die back and turn a crispy brown if exposed to warm temperatures. By direct sowing them in November and December, your ensuring that you will harvest everything before warm temperatures of spring return.

I have tons of delicious and unique pea seeds on my website if you need seeds.
