Grow Lettuce Like a Pro! #gardening #vegetables #vegatables #smallspacegardening #blackgardeners

In this video, using the cut and come again method, I harvest some tasty lettuce. Very satisfying and happy to do so. The turnips looked good.

We’re seeing shortages of basic items, with food being among them. I hope this video inspires and makes others realize that growing food in a suburban setting can be done. The backyard grocery store never has empty shelves! Happy Gardening!

Lettuce is an annual plant it’s most often grown as a leaf vegetable but sometimes for its stem and seeds lettuce is most often used in salads although it is also seen in other kinds of foods such as soups sandwiches and wraps it can also be gred good

Morning my name is Moses and welcome back to my channel Urban backyard container gardening today I’m going to take you along with me while we Harvest some lettuce that I have grown but first I’m going to give you a quick tour of what’s going on in the garden so let’s get to It Oh my little broccoli is growing real well it’s getting bigger day by day and no formation of a head yet but it has all the signs in this one and this one’s nice and green so hopefully I will have three heads of broccoli and maybe some side shoots coming from these

Plants onions are doing okay I got one that’s starting to bulp so that’s a good thing I got to get out and pull some weeds out of this bed so with the cool weather we’ve had the last couple of days every thing in the garden is really appreciating it uh

The greens and the Cabbage are getting kissed by the cool weather and they’re looking great these are the plants that I took out of my grow tent to put my um seed Challenge seeds for 2023 in and they are looking plants are looking great this is the rud this is the

Caloo this is the cabbage and I’m starting to see what looks like a little formation of a head and the tomato and in the last video I said I was going to add some more soil and stake it and I did and it’s starting to look

Better hey this is some of my my Romain lettuce that I planted earlier and as you can see you might be able to see rather it has started to bolt so we’re going to see what we can Harvest when I planted this I had every intention of coming back and thinning it

Out but I never did come back and thin it out so it’s kind of growing in bunches as the green lettuce that I’m cutting now is my Roma lettuce and it looks good just crowd it so maybe thinning it out will help as well I’m using the

Cut and come again method I’m not going to remove the whole plant for for for for okay nice little Harvest of fresh lettuce leaves let’s go to the green stock and see what we have there to get and we have some roma lettuce here so we’re going to get some of the leaves

For I think that those are the only two that I have growing there so we got a nice Harvest of lettuce and I’m happy with it it looks nice and fresh and I love the sound when that it makes when you cut it so I want to thank you for coming

Along while we harvested two different types of lettuce hope you got something out of it if you did give me a big thumbs up if you haven’t subscribed to my channel take a moment to to consider doing so I can grow a lot of vegetables including
