Today, I’d like to show you a few features of the Quest Dual 110. Quest Dual 110 has dual exhaust, dual-filter access, high-quality Merv 8 filter.
To control the dehumidifier, there is an analog or mechanical control on the front of the unit. Now the reason we use mechanical controls and not digital controls is for durability. We like to use the term dump truck technology whereas we build everything overbuild it and there’s nothing particularly fancy, so oftentimes people buy our products and ask why we don’t have a digital humidistatin. That’s because software and those components are more fragile and less durable over the long haul.
Each Quest Dehumidifier comes with a high-quality filter. In this case, we have Merv 8 filter that can be changed every drawer or every other drawer, and this will capture all the dangerous particles like powdery mildew and other molds that you would like to keep out of the equipment.
When growing each cycle, you don’t want to take what you had from the last cycle into the next cycle, so if you had powdery mildew, you want to keep it out of the equipment so that it doesn’t blow it into the room the next time you’re growing.
So the Quest Dual 110 also has a dual airflow; that’s where it gets the name dual from. Dual airflow is just beneficial because it supplies dry air to both sides of the unit, allows you to have more balance in your room. But also by hanging the dehumidifier, you keep the heat off the plants. With the dehumidifier, you’re naturally going to have some amount of heat coming out of them that’s just a byproduct of dehumidification.
