Who says thinning can’t be fun?! Here’s us making the most out of our trip to one of our fellow DirtMagicians’ garden beds. Dee’s struggling to thin these plant babies, whereas Bri is having the time of her life! 🥰
We have found many gardeners, just like Dee, who really struggle with thinning. In fact, it’s the hardest task for them as they’ve spent so much time tending to their plant babies only to kill them! 😥 Sometimes it takes many years of farming and the ‘farming mentality’ to get over it. Sometimes you just never will, and it totally depends on the person! While you may think twice about thinning these seedlings, they’re crucial for a healthy garden bed and allows other seedlings to have plenty of room to grow. ❤️ You can easily thin plants, clean them off and put them in stir-fries and salads!
