  1. You met Geoff after having taken a wrong turn and crashed a PDC course very shortly after having discovered him on you tube.
BTW thanks for being you Weedy, gave me a pair of good chuckles in this video, not only is your cinomagrafy outstanding but so is your story telling and putting together your acts, absolutly love it! πŸ™ Have a great day and enjoy your life ✌

  2. You met Geoff Lawton when you were driving home from Bens place and you took a wrong turn. On turning into a driveway to do a U turn you see the Permaculture sign. On remembering on what you had been learning on you tube & about Geoff, you decide to go in and there he was at the table having his lunch .synchronicity at its best 😊

  3. Hello new friend. I’m from USA, state Alabama. I came across your channel scrolling YouTube on plant propagation. I really enjoyed the aerial shot of your homestead and wide variety of food you have on it. Lots of work and sweat I’m sure. Well done.
Answer -sun is 93 million miles away and 1 photon takes 8 min 19 seconds. Light speed.
Looking forward to catch up on all your videos

  4. The sun is 147.35Β millionΒ km from earth and with the speed of light, it take about 8 minutes 20 seconds for a photon to reach the earth.

  5. Here's your answer to the Eco flow question. The Sun is about 150 million kilometres away from Earth. It takes about 8 minutes and 20 seconds for light (photons) from the Sun to travel to Earth.

  6. You met Geoff when you took a wrong turn, and as fate would have it, you stumbled upon Zaytuna farm, and a beautiful friendship started. I remember that it was raining heavy but you still captured one of my favourite moments. I have gone back to watch it quite a few times.

  7. Mrs Weedy is very talented, I used to make Jewellery when I was younger I feel very inspired to start up again. My favourite is Spring at last….it's my favourite time of year.

  8. 3 pollinators of course the honey bee – The genus name Apis is Latin for "bee", and mellifera is the Latin for "honey-bearing

    Northern Blossom Bat
    Scientific name: Macroglossus minimus

    Blue banded bee

  9. the three most common pollinators that I find in my garden (Humboldt county)are butterflies, carpenter bees, bats, and beetles

  10. you met Geoff by passing his property after seeing videos of him recently before, and you stumbled in and met him during one of his classes , love seeing the universe bring people together

  11. my favorite merch is the shirt with you in the garden, it's a well brought together picture, and it brings a similar calmness that your videos make me feel

  12. eating mango in the stream. thnaks to Weedy for all the info and hard work and his affiliates for making this christmas draw possible. I would love to enter some more especially the seeds and herbal bits but im a Pom. hope you have peacefull rest and wonderful christmas everyone (and not too hot in the southern hemisphere)

  13. Oh this is exciting! Thank you for the thoughtful giveaway, I feel like a kid again waiting for Christmas to arrive 😊 This comment is for entry to the Geoff Lawton Permaculture Course giveaway:
You were driving back home from Ben's and took a wrong turn on Pinchin Rd and then drove up a drive way and saw a sign for Zaytuna Farm which you learned about 10 days earlier. So you went into the farm and met the students who told you to go talk to Geoff 'cause he's a nice guy so you did and Geoff recognized you as the "Weedy Garden guy" and then he showed you around some of the farm, that food forest was beautiful! Definitely one of my favorite videos.

  14. We live with 6 of our 8 kids on a small piece of land in Texas, and could really use that power generator! Our power grid fails constantly and we are without power for a few hours almost weekly some months. The Sun is about 147, 000,000 km away, or 93, 000,000 miles in Texan πŸ˜‰ It also takes about 8 minutes for a photon to reach the Earth from the Sun! The pack would also help when we have bad winter periods like a couple years ago when most of the Texas grid was out for almost a week in a string of ice and snow storms.

  15. Entry for Mrs. Weedy's Wearable Art Close To The Heart: Stone Age. That and Confidence are the most gorgeous necklaces I've ever seen. But I'm an avid fossil collector so that orthoceras won my heart πŸ₯°

  16. I love the videos you create and would like to enter the Ecoflow River 2 max give away!

The Sun is 147 million Kilometers away and it takes a photo 8 minutes and 20 seconds to reach earth.

  17. Hi Weedy! The sun is a short 147.34 million km from our beautiful planet and a photon particle makes a speedy trip of around 8 minutes & 20 seconds to reach us here on Earth <3 Thank you for all your content, and the movie(!), this year – whenever I need a little boost to get outside I watch one of your videos. My parents live in the Northern Rivers, so it's always lovely to see the area, it's so beautiful in that part of the world.

  18. You met the wonderful Geoff when the universe took the wheel and led you down a winding road directly to his property and school <3 It's one of my favourite videos!

  19. ECO-FLOW answers:

    1. The sun is approximately 91.553 million miles (149 million kilometers) away from planet earth, although this measurement fluctuates according to the position of earth in it's orbit around the sun as the orbit is in a slight oval shape. Fun Fact; if we were to line up multiple planet earths end to end from earth's position to that of the sun, the distance would be about 11, 720 planet earths.

    2. It takes a photon particle about eight minutes from the time that it leaves the sun's surface until it reaches planet earth. However, the same photon can take 100,000 years or more to make it from the core of the sun to the sun's surface. Fun Fact; when that same photon reaches the leaf of a plant, it "excites" or energizes the electrons within chlorophyll molecules, thus starting the chain reaction of bio-chemical processes called photosynthesis.

WEEDY! Love your channel, very inspirational lifestyle and attitude toward life and nature. I live in a dense urban setting but am starting to grow my own food and set up a small garden thanks to seeing videos like yours which have inspired me quite a lot in many ways. Wishing you the happiest of holidays and the best of luck for all of your projects and pursuits!

  20. Love your videos Weedy!

The Sun's about 150 million Km away! Or just one 1 astronomical unit, so it's just down the street really. πŸ˜€ It takes a photon about 8min 20sec to travel from the sun to the earth where it gently touches the leaves of your plants <3
