Do your plant leaves have white lines? Leafminer Pests #gardeningtips #garden #vegetablegarden

Do you find white lines on the leaves of your veggie plants? These white tracks are caused by the larvae of leafminers. They are located in-between the layers of the leaves making spray type of treatments ineffective. You can prune off affected diseases to stop the spread. However, leafminers are basically just cosmetic damage and doesn’t affect the plants overall production (unless in extremely high numbers which I have never seen). I don’t do anything, I leave it alone. Leafminers are very common on plants like tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, and citrus trees.
