What can I do to improve the strength of my greenhouse?

Make absolutely certain all of your corners are square. And have a solid firm level base. We built a harbor freight greenhouse last year and spent as much time making sure the base was right as we did building the rest of the gh. Like they say about a lot of things, a good foundation is essential!

I would suggest anchoring it. If you cannot do so to the concrete, buy either 4×4’s or 4X6’s to anchor it to. (If you have the manual for the greenhouse, it might tell you what size.)

I screwed mine down to a 4×4 foundation, then I anchored that to the ground using four 14″ augers drilled into the ground.

The roof panels I reinforced with added cross strips of aluminum, and screwed the panels down to those.

My GH is heated, and losing a panel in the middle of winter would be deadly to my plants.

The most important thing is to have a solid base for your structure. We put one up this fall and we actually had a concrete pad poured to put it on and then we screwed the base of it into the concrete so that that sucker is not going anywhere. We also built inside benches that are attached to the frame to help hold it study. I hope you find these hints helpful.
