Is been 4 days and this is what my impale graft looks like. It feels sturdy, doesn’t push off with a light poke. It just isn’t looking like it’s plumping up.

Looks a little dry. Did you keep it in a humidity dome? I usually keep mine moist for a week after grafting something this small.
It might need a few more days to plump up. Typically, I don’t keep my impale grafts under high humidity, but this guy might benefit from a humidity chamber for a couple days
