My dad chilled out in his older days even though he died at age 60. After the 12th kud he mellowed out. I was one of the older kids… so he was hard on us older kids😭

My memory started getting worse too,but there has been stress some what in my life I think that has caused it.
I can rarely be alone unless i am working outside, then family seems to leave me be most of the time. I seek peace & comfort with the lord as He is the only one who has brought me thru the turmoil in my marriage & is helping thru the latest turmoil/trauma of my husband's heart attack & recent pain that caused him to go to the ER again.
I have a few of you u-tubers that i watch, but that's it for social media & half the time its 3-7 day's b4 i can watch. I was going thru papers to get stuff organized for next yr projects & garden stuff while listening to you. As i was listening & reading, my thoughts of "why worry about this (gardening stuff)" clicked in my head.
My mom wants me/us to sell our 6+ acre property to buy their house (it'd be less then 2 acres) & they build on an acre + "in the back". I have not had peace in this thought, but the Lord & I have been talking a lot lately.

We have been in an extreme drought for 2 months, today we received 3.5 inches and it’s still raining until Friday! I waded to the post office and the streets are mostly flooded. Thankful for the moisture though!

I heard recently that men in the Bible got "alone" with God by going up the mountain or into the wilderness. However, God met women while they were about the daily chores, such as Lydia or Mary and Martha. God will grant us peace wherever we are.

Mr Danny thank you. I listen yesterday morning to porch time while cleaning the gym at work. Usually the woman waiting is a little antsy wanting to start her workout, however this time she leaned against the wall and listened to your voice made a comment how much she appreciated hearing what you had to say about the Lord. Peace was had after that moment
I sat for two hours yesterday on the porch watching my dogs play and the leaves change. I am in my early 50s. I am three years from retirement from the fire department. So I get days where I can do things done. I got housework caught up. I managed to prep the barn for cold weather. I still need to fix the fence because a tree fell a week ago and did some damage. My husband starts vacation Saturday and we will step up our winterizing. We should be done by the end of vacation.

I thank you Danny for bringing the topic of peace to the table. I have spent so much time being angry at what is going on in the world for the last 3 years, and it has affected me in many ways mentally and physically. I realize recently that there isn't much I can do about much of it, and all I can do is prepare the best I can, as it is in Yawh 's hands. It is time to start finding peace in the simple things and how blessed I am to have a small property and a few chickens to enjoy, and room to grow! It's been very dry here too, Thankfully we are looking at some rain for the next few days. I would send you some if I could! Blessings to you and yours!
I'm 68 and feel the same as you do about taking life of anything. I was easily excitable for lack of being honest about anger. Since becoming a grandfather of 8 just watching them grow into young people leaves me with peace that had been elusive. The comment I love best. Pa's crazy he just laughs about everything🤣
