Hey everyone!

Garden is coming along great, and I remembered, on a Sunday! lol

Enjoy!

The website still has A LOT to go on it, there is a lot of dead links and empty space and even some ‘sample stuff’ from the template I bought, but if you’d like to look at how a sample recipe will look, here’s a link and feedback is always welcome 🙂

  1. I can’t tell you how excited I am for another video!!! I love the garden tours! Yay for zucchini harvest! And your helper did a great job!

  2. Wow great garden, I planted Dycon radishes this year I kept thinking the same thing I went to pull one finally as the season was coming to an end and they were a foot long. U may need a garden fork to help like with turnips parsnips.

  3. Thanks for the garden tour Nyssa, love seeing it all. Fantastic greens. And a nice harvest of zucchini and cucumbers, great work Apollo😊So cool when you get to the stage that you can munch on a garden snack while working in the garden!

  4. Hi Nyssa🥰 What a wonderful garden apprentice Apollo is 👨‍🌾
It’s great that he can have a munch as he’s doing the harvest. Can you eat the daikon leaves? Daikons are about 20 cm long at the markets.
    Love them pickled with carrot.
    The garden is amazing!!!
Awww the pigs are sooo happy 🥰

  5. Garden looks good, all my tomatoes did that curling on tops like yours. I thought it was because of our ungodly heat this summer. Alot of 100 plus days. Hopely yours will do better. Hardly any tomatoes to eat or can this year. Good luck on all the garden!

  6. Have you tried basil lemonade? Might be a way to use up some of your abundance. The garden looks fantastic, especially with the heat you have

  7. Not sure what's going on with the tomatoes this year, but we had massive leaf curl as well. Never seen this before! I think the lack of rain/high spring temps were definitely a factor … but we are still managing to get quite a good tomato crop from our few plants! It was a big surprise, considering the plants looked half dead.Squash, zucchinis and pumpkins are doing well. Your garden is looking terrific. 🙂

  8. Those piggy tails are so cute. Apollo is getting so big. Garden looks great. Agree on the abundance of greens being fantastic. We go through so many in our home.

  9. DIacon radishes can reach 30cm + in length. I grew up on them, using them in salads and eating them fresh. It depends on the soil. They look like they are growing well. They do love water. Your doing well Nyssa, we never stop learning.

  10. Whohoooooo produce from the garden.. you've already gotten 100% more food from this garden than the last.. thanks for sharing…

  11. Nyssa, Your garden looks great to me. Apollo is a big help in the garden a natural. Our cabbage was just a giant bug feast. Ours looked the same way too. Maybe netting would work. So glad the fires are not being a headache for you guys.Cute pigs! No voice overs by creatures today so that's a good thing. I think they add to your videos lol! TFS!!!😉

  12. Hi Apollo. Good to see you. Nyssa, your Basil looks better than mine did during my USA summer. Interesting assessment about the compost soil and the tomatoes. You are probably right. We use mushroom compost in our garden. Hope Darryl's cat or dog bite is doing OK. Good to see the pigs enjoying cabbage.

  13. at least getting some fresh food from it , you would think they would make some roll top netting for them long tin bedding box's ,you know like attached to back and just roll over top plants to keep them bugs /rats off them , them cabbages eat to bits got some nice fat healthy bugs there lol lol . Apollo was a great lad to help you and looking like he enjoying doing it , the pigs huge do you eat them ?

  14. Just want you to know that I keep “catching “ myself smiling while watching your videos. It’s like we’re face to face chatting. 😊 You’re doing such a fantastic job.

  15. I forget about Warrigal Greens. I always have some growing in the garden and I do take them for granted. Lovely to see Apollo interested in the garden and helping you. I am putting some more seedlings in tomorrow that I got cheaply and a few I grew myself. They will replace my cabbages that did not come to anything either. Strawberries are going good, though I need to net them. Are you still going to weigh what you pick?

  16. Pigs were happy! Love their little tails! Its great to see some success in the garden! Our plants are eaten by possums. We think everything is secure, but alas, the possums show us that is not the case! Very strange with your soil problem. Radishes are normally a indicator of soil quality. We have radishes growing in our granite, topped up with soil and mulch. I would suggest pulling the straw away from the growing plants and just have the straw around the plants. They may not be getting enough sun. Also in the beds with the sick tomatoes, i would push a pice of timber or pipe down into the garden beds to allow excess heat and moisture to escape. Loved your little helper doing taste tests

  17. Just nice to see you can gather anything from this year’s garden 😮❤ Looks like it’s a good garden year 🥹
