Grow bags are amazing! They’re super affordable, pack nicely and are just a simple way to get started gardening! 👩🏻🌾
While it’s a no-brainer recommendation, these are a few considerations we’d make when using them ⬇️
1️⃣ Avoid planting cucumbers and squash in grow bags! This is because parts of it can get pretty moist, making it a pretty good breeding ground for powdery mildew, which we definitely want to avoid.
2️⃣ Grow bags also tend to dry out faster than similar alternatives like plastic containers. This basically means that you’ll need to water more frequently (you can definitely mulch to help retain moisture).
