Edible Gardening

Year In The Life on a Farmstead/Acreage

Hi friends! Come along with me on a journey of a year in my life on a 160 acre homestead, where we live a slow simple existence of natural living.
Spending the days hanging with our cows, sheep, goats, & all of our farm animals ~ along with seasonal occasions like foraging for wild foods such as morels, lobster & oyster mushrooms! We explore the land, & love to learn what plants are safe for edible & medicinal purposes as we firmly believe that food is medicine! Some things we do that aren’t featured in this video is food from scratch! Please come along with us and join us on our journey of documenting our simple, minimal, “sustainable living” creative lifestyle on our land & the wonders of life on the farm. Homemaking, homesteading, & home births! Our way of life includes things like pressure canning, gardening, raising animals/ livestock / cattle, preparing fresh, wild & natural organic from foraging right from the back yard/land, to the table. Our aspirations in life is to live a life of freedom, low stress & to exist outside of the conventional confines of the world. We practice wholesome, organic natural living & want to share the joys & wonders of farm life with you! We are SHTF preppers who believe in being self sufficient by means of raising livestock, growing our own food, & living our own version of the “off grid” lifestyle!
