My wife and I have a small front yard with two cinderblock raised beds, each approximately 4×12 feet. Between the one in the center of our yard and a flower bed up against our porch, we have a nine-foot wide space.
I’ve found greenhouse kits that are in six-foot widths, but that would crowd up uncomfortably close to either the raised bed or the flower bed. I’ve also seen 6×4 kits, with the door on the 6 foot side, but that almost feels too small. Putting two of those side by side seems conceivable, but awkward to connect them into one unit.
Our goals are both seed starting in spring and keeping some of our larger tropical houseplants as they outgrow our indoor IKEA grow cabinets.
