What's the difference with the house plants in the house versus those in the studio… do those in the studio have a different purpose?

Cache’ pot – the ‘t’ is silent on pot
This video was perfect timing for me! Your success with the red geraniums inspired me to buy some seeds. They came in the mail today, so I just finished planting them along with a few seeds of begonias. They are sitting on a heat mat and I sprinkled vermiculite on top. I’m praying all goes well.
What is the size and brand name of the mister you use in the studio please? Thanks so much!!
What did you sprinkle over the geranium seeds, I normally use potting compost when planting seeds, but I haven't used seed for a long time because I haven't had much success. I live in SW Florida.

Is there a shelf life for Gnatrol? It's pricey, and I don't think I need a 16lb pail (like I see on Amazon).
I bought a mesto mister from Amazon, the small size, and had to wait a long time to get it but it’s fantastic!
Does anyone have any good ideas on how to keep my house cat out of my plants!? I really love them but they are starting to get on my nerves!! Lol
Laura, A tip to make your house plants happy is to water them with your leftover water after steaming your vegetables. Previous winters my plants would stay alive but they were limping by springtime. I was amazed at how vigorousmy my plants were after overwintering. All the plants were in the same amount of light and the same amount of water. The only thing that changed was the veggi water. Come spring they were just as big or bigger than they were the previous autum.
Just seems so early to start seeds. Got to wait till after the holidays..

Hard water patina on clay pots: do you know that people (me) pay good money for that kind of patina on their pots and your pots get that patina for free! LOL.
Those new house plants (esp. that fern) give such a warm feel to your home for your Thanksgiving Celebration along with Christmas Trees, the family, and of course, Aaron's deep-fried turkey! Samantha is just such sooo adorable. You are truly blessed!

Love those house plants, I love having them but we winter in Florida, so i only have three which my granddaughter keeps a live for me while we are gone. Enjoy them Laura.
I notice the seed trays had slightly larger cells. Is it okay to use the more “traditional” sized trays to start the geraniums. I also have some maverick white I want to get started, but all my trays are more of the one inch size?
