HOW TO DECODEN: what to REALISTICALLY expect!

How to “decoden” a phone case/ DIY kawaii phone case ! In this video, I show you my start to finish process of making my first decoden phone cases with silicone, resin and pre-made accessories. Decorating a phone case is really fun and creative, with the silicone it is MESSY but I think can become neater with a few adjustments and practice.

I share all of the troubles I ran into and the takeaways with this DIY phone case project. Attempted to turn my phone into dessert but coming out like slime, it was a pretty good experience overall but way harder than social media made it look!

I’m curious to see how different the process could be with different sized piping tips. It’s something a little different than what I post on this channel that I have wanted to try for a while! I’ll definitely give it another go and hopefully get a cleaner result that time!

‼️‼️‼️ ➡️➡️➡️➡️Steps I forgot to mention:

➖After mixing paint into silicone, you’ll place the dyed silicone into a piping bag, I lined a cup with a piping bag for easier transfer.

➖Use a popsicle stick or flat edge to push the silicone to the end of the piping bag.

➖Twist the piping bag from where the silicone ends inside to make it easier to push, continue to twist at the new back as the silicone leaves the bag.
