  1. My parents house backs up to an unused pasture. An apple tree showed up a number of years ago and now produces large, sweet, gold apples with a nice pink blush that are ready to harvest around the first week of august. Easily the best seedling apple tree I’ve ever found!

  2. Thanks for another great video. An apple that grows true from seed is the Antonovka apple. I think it does good up to zone 8. I have lots of seedlings from other apples that will probably be crab apples but I need them as pollinators so I'm pretty happy.

  3. I like to plant random seeds around public where there are drip systems or near ponds and city lakes. Sunflowers are a great starter. The city should be a food forest. Maybe I will start mixing in apple and pear seeds.

  4. So nice to see you guys ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ tuckaroni❤the best video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  5. Im about 3 weeks into the stratification process with pear seeds at the moment, going to try apple seeds over the winter too 😀

  6. Your enthusiasm is contageous! Keep on doing what you do and sharing it with this great community of subscribers!

  7. Am I missing something here? You took apple seeds from fruit you bought and you're calling that your own variety?
If it was a commercial variety you probably are getting the rootstock variety no?
I don't know. Sadly my wife likes to move around, so I only have a few dwarf varieties in tubs.

  8. Very informative! Funny, I just saved some Gala apple seeds a few days ago… Timely info! 🍎🍎🍎 Thank you

  9. Buy a 2 way Apple graft, plant it then grow apple from seed too and graft the grafts onto Apple seed rootstock😊

  10. That is cool!!! I grew a plant from an apple seed out of an apple I got from the Farmer's Market about a year ago and people told me it was going to turn into a crabapple,,,so I appreciate your correct information about growing from a seed out of an apple you ate 😅🍎 The plant is still alive too!! I actually just have it with my house plants and have not planted it outdoors yet but now I will!! Thanks!!!

  11. Just found out that the orange tree i bought as a baby from Florida is actually a calamondin orange (i probably messed up the spelling) and that's why the 🍊 are so tiny. I now get to find an orange i like and plant up a bunch of orange seeds in hopes of getting one that is close enough to what i want. This is on top of my lemons, grapefruits, avocados, mangos, muscadine grapes, and yes…. several apple varieties as well.

  12. my grandson wanted to grow apple tree from store bought apples i figured it wldnt work i tried doing winter sowing method in tea jug 6 seeds 6 grew i was amazed but gave away to amish had no place to plant them since i was renting but hey it worked

  13. My next door neighbor gave me some of the apples off one of his trees and I saved some of the seeds. Imma try this. Love Tuck!! ❤❤❤❤❤

  14. Hi James,
I love that you grew your own apple tree. It’s such a beautiful tree. I’m wondering if the seeds I planted from my lemons will be genetically different from its parent tree. I’m so excited to see what I get. Thanks for the encouragement. I planted 6 seeds. Let’s see how many make it.
