  3. Pretty sure I asked this same question on Jim Putnam's channel, but I'll throw it out for this group too. For about 13 years, I have used the same virgin cedar mulch on my beds…..because it looks and smells nice. I assume it's good for the soil, but I wonder if I should be rotating….mulch with leaves, mulch with compost, mulch with mulch? Is this too much of one single good thing?

  4. Great video Janey loaded with lots of information and you explain everything so well. Thank you for all you do.

  15. Compost and mulch have made a huge difference in our landscape. We were.blessed with some nice plants when we moved in:peonies, hostas astible, daylillies, hydrangeas and some roses, but many were in need of attention. Our neighbors were astounded at the growth and beauty after we started tending the garden. Ofcourse we have beenadding lots of other plants!😊

  16. Wow, this was such an informative video! I learned so much. You are such a great speaker and I’m looking forward to the other topics you’ve got planned. Thank you!

  17. Question for anyone that knows,
Is pre-soaking the ground before we dig, the same as if we dug while raining? It helps so much to pre soak but curious if there is a difference. Thanks so much!😁
