A bit of an abrupt ending… 😠😡
Portland does not have the population needed to generate significant new income from tv advertising and merchandise sales. They will have to remain Storm fans just like the people in Washington state have to be Trailblazers fans.
WNBA can't make a profit with the teams they have established now. Adding more "Supply" where there is no financial "Demand" will not make the product more alluring or profitable. They need to improve the play of the game to get paying fans. Right now, they can't fill seats when they give away free tickets because their product is unwatchable.
