Making a Potting Mix and Planting

In this video, join me in the quest for the perfect potting mix to nurture my two apple tree seedlings, cultivate vibrant oregano, and sow the seeds of arugula, spinach, and lettuce in trays.

As we delve into the world of gardening, I unveil the secret to crafting a top-notch potting mix without breaking the bank. High-quality mixes can be pricey, but fear not! I’ll guide you through the art of creating your own blend using the magical trio of coconut coir, perlite, and compost.

Now, here’s where the adventure takes an unexpected turn—I found myself without compost on hand. But worry not, fellow green thumbs! Sometimes, planting young seedlings doesn’t require an immediate boost of compost. I do plan to introduce that rich goodness in a few weeks, ensuring a thriving and luscious garden ahead.
