  1. Hi Laura. This is my favorite time of year. Youโ€™ll love growing Hostas. One is never enough. Youโ€™ll enjoy it even more when they get big enough to split. Iโ€™ve filled up my garden beds this way. Thank you for the amazing tour. Your garden looks amazing year round!

  2. Laura! What a magical space you've created!!! I should have taken notes cause I'll likely need to come back and add another comment. The pink azalea is to die for! It does look like a rose. And it's a ground cover? WOW!!! My limelights and other hydrangeas also have beautiful dried flowers. I've cut more this year than ever before and plan to use them on my Christmas tree along with some dried gumphrena (sp?) in three shades. I'm hoping to have only things from my garden on the tree this year other than ribbons. I love the cedar tree on the fence. I could definitely use some along my back fence. Those berries are gorgeous! And your pumpkins sitting in a wreath. Hope you don't mind if I copy you in two of my entry way planters! Thank you for the lovely tour!!! – Doleen

  3. If you want to create some variation in your hydrangea, you can Chelsea chop some branches in summer. I do it to some low branches and theyโ€™re just blooming now while the rest have changed color. Keeps it interesting.

  4. Thanks for reminding us to think about designing a Four Season Garden. Foliage, berries and ornamentation add to a garden that we can enjoy year 'round.

  5. Very interesting. Would like to know though what zone you are in? Many don't apply to those of us in Canada, zone 4b.
