  1. Gardiner used to be vice chair of Labour Friends of Israel and is still a member of that disgusting club.

  2. If the current PM thinks that supporting Israel is going to be a vote winner then he best go and grab his coat now.

  3. Under Starmer, Lammy, Streeting, Reeves, it's possible to forget that there are still a few good and honourable MPs left. Barry Gardiner is just one such individual!

  4. It's an argument over something neither side is willing to do. It's a political argument.

No one should shout down anyone else's call for a ceasefire, of whatever kind. It's an inalienable right.

  5. So few MPs willing to stand up and say this even if they would want to. Well done to Barry for having a backbone

  6. Should be Labour leader. We need measured politicians who know what they are about and will speak truth to power like Barry.

  7. Its not his family.he doesent understand the history of palerstine he should take
Sunak and they should go to palerstine

  8. When his phone rang his first thought was it might be the labour leadership getting the knives out, then he realised that would come after the interview is broadcast

  9. The US can't apply pressure on Israel?! Are you high, mate?! Of course they can. Israel get billions from the US, and if the US can finally grow a pair and not be a puppet and a mouthpiece for Satanyahu, they can absolutely tell the bugger to ceasefire.

  10. The problem is, apartheid fascist Israel has absolutely no interest in a ceasefire, peace talks, or peace. The Israeli govt/IDF want to wipe the Palestinians out, which has always been Israels end game objective.

You can near guarantee that if Hamas and the Israeli govt agreed to meet, that Israel would just arrest/kill the Hamas people, you cannot trust Israel in the slightest, they lie, misinform, make up BS claims that they cannot back up, spread propaganda, they have attacked allies to silence them (1967 USS Liberty GTR-5), etc.

Apartheid fascist Israel have no issue committing war crimes, genocide, ethnic cleansing, etc., they see theselves as superior to all others, especially Palestinians. Reality is, they are evil

  11. So, Gardiner doesn't disagree with the genocide, just would like to have a pause to the slaughter. His position also puts mist if the responsiblility on Hamas rather than telling Israel to stop slaughtering thousands of innocent Palestinians. He's a self professed Zionist so we know where he stands

  12. Gardiner waffles and waffles. No criticism of the far right Israeli Government whilst they slaughter thousands. He is quick to condemn the Palestinians when after 60 years of sujugation they had the temerity to fight back.

  13. Labour policy on every single political and human rights issue can be summed up as follows: a day late and a pound short.
