One Yard Revolution: The End of Summer is NOT the End of the Garden! (Preparing for Fall/Winter Garden)

Summer may be coming to an end, but our garden won’t end with it. In fact, our fall and winter crops are just getting started. Today I’ll show you what we’re doing now to ensure a continuous harvest into the fall and winter here in zone 5.

OYR is all about growing a lot of food on a little land using sustainable organic methods, while keeping costs and labor at a minimum. Emphasis is placed on improving soil quality with compost and mulch. No store-bought fertilizers, soil amendments, pesticides, compost activators, etc. are used.
