  1. Yes, I watch because it's a soothing escape, the way that I find gardening therapeutic. We all grieve for the suffering in the world, and I think that should go without saying, no virtue displays necessary.

  2. Clay pots should never be left outside as the can freeze and break. A plastic cover does not protect anything from the cold.

  3. Linda, You may want to watch Laura’s Garden Answers today. She gave information that you might like. Both of you gave good information on dahlias. I am surprised you have not done a show with Laura. I watch you both everyday. I mean this in a nice way.❤❤❤

  4. Yeah I'll be winterizing my yard Saturday. The Temps here in Texas will be 75°. More bearable to be out in. Congratulations Texas Rangers WS first time winners!

  5. Hi Linda. I'm north of Tulsa by about 20 minutes. I left my dahlia tubers in the ground and gave them a little extra mulch. They came back beautifully!

  6. I can relate to the challenge of pulling annuals out of planters. I’m the beautification chair for our local garden club and today we removed the annuals that have gone by in our town planters. We had to pull, tug and break the roots up with tools. We were prepping them so in a couple weeks we can fill with greens for the winter season.

  7. Hi Linda. Hi Stewart. I have a question about bulb flowers. I thought the bulbs need to be stored in paper bag and placed in a very dark cool location. Is this still accurate? Thank you 😊
    Your friend Kristine

  8. I think a wooden top for your table is a great idea. Wood will be warmer than glass and much more comfortable for your guests if you decide to celebrate Thanksgiving outside.

  9. Women wielding long handled shovels never look comfortable. I bought a really small shovel and a spade at a thrift shop, children’s length but made of quality stuff and with bigger ends than conventional children’s one. they are my go-to tools for digging, so much so that I bought a fork to match. So little money for so much use

  10. I store dahlia tubers in paper bags that are labeled. I pull mine when the opportunity arises. I do clean them also but this the first time I've used water. Generally I let them dry and shake the dirt off. I think they will do better for you if you wrap them in paper. They shrivel up a lot if just left on a crate. I also store them year to year. Interesting that the tubers are different shapes. My yellow are long more carrot like and the reds more round like potatoes. The hybrids tend also to be more round. I also stake mine to 5'trellises. The get Larger than you think!

  11. Love this video! And also would love it if you would go into a little more detail about what you’re doing with your Amaryllis! Thank you!

  12. I just dug up all my dahlias. As well as my gladiolus and royal lilies. Actually did that today. I accidentally stabbed one of my royal lilies in half, was so sad. But I noticed a bunch of new grow on all three. So exciting. Tomorrow I need to transfer my potted mums into the ground somewhere.
